Dr. Richardson earned his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, Texas in 1984. Following his General Surgery residence, he joined the faculty at Baylor where he taught and practiced general, vascular, and trauma surgery in Texas Medical Center.
Dr. Richardson received his training in cardiovascular and thoracic surgery at Baylor College of Medicine Affiliated Hospitals, M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, and Denver Children’s Hospital. Subsequently he rejoined the faculty at Baylor until he entered private practice.
He is board certified by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
